I completed my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2019 from SVN Government Medical College Hospital, Yavatmal. I further completed additional internships at the Government Medical College Hospital, Nagpur, King's College, London (UK), Duke University Hospital (US), and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (US) in multiple areas including adult and child cardiology, child neurology, and hemato-oncology. In India, I have served as a Medical Officer at Sub-district Hospital Chandrapur and as a House Officer at Government Medical College Hospital Nagpur. At ASAR, my work focuses on health policy analysis, health systems financing, universal health coverage, implementation sciences, and child health. I also collaborate with pediatric neurology investigators at Duke University School of Medicine to understand barriers to and increase awareness for epilepsy care for children in South Asia. My work has been published in Human Resources for Health, Lancet Regional Health - Southeast Asia, and other academic journals. I have written on health disparities and rural health in Think Global Health, Global Health Now, The Wire, and BMJ Opinions. I currently lead the Team for Sustainable Development Goal 3 at Green Governance Initiative, a central organization focusing on constituency development. I am a proud first-generation physician.
